Jesus officially began His public ministry one short chapter ago and already we can see He has become a lightening rod… the religious leaders have already tried to kill Him (Luke 4:29) because while they didn’t get a lot of things right, they got one thing right… they understood Jesus was claiming to be the Messiah, God manifest in the flesh… the One who has power to heal and the very same One who has the power to forgive sins.
